Representative Antonio H. Cerilles of Zamboanga del Sur Second District aired his vehement objection over the move to postpone the ARMM (Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao) election slated this August 11. He reiterated his stand over the Pakisayud sa Alindahaw radio program simulcast over DXCA-FM and DXBZ-AM last Sunday (Aug. 3) after he guested a talkshow over the National Broadcasting Network telecast nationwide last July 31. |

Boy scouts in Zamboanga del Sur, Pagadian City and Zamboanga Sibugay can earn money out of planting trees upon taking part of the “Go Green, Go for the Real Thing project”. With this project, the P40 registration fee for Boy Scout of the Philippines (BSP) is no longer a burden to parents for every single tree planted by a boy scout he gets P20 from Coca Cola Philippines in tandem with the Boy Scout of the Philippines for the “Go Green, Go for the Real Thing project”. |

Zamboanga del Sur - Camp Rebi, described as hidden paradise of San Pablo located in Barangay Teniapan, this province will again host the 18th Provincial Boy Scout Jamboree slated on Sept. 26-30 instead of Camp Alindahaw, Pulacan, Labangan as earlier reported. Camp Rebi has been the camp site of two Boy Scout jamborees with Governor Aurora E. Cerilles as chief executive of the province at the same time BSP Provincial Council chair. Presently, with his son at the helm, Dumalinao Mayor and League of Municipalities president Ace William E. Cerilles, as BSP Council chair, the Provincial Boy Scout Jamboree is back at Camp Rebi |
