Livestock and poultry raising are undertaken mostly on backyard scale. However, chicken are raised in commercial scales within Pagadian City. Among contract raisers are the RFM and SWIFT Companies.
The increasing number of carabaos, cattle, goats, sheep and hogs are attributed to the various dispersal programs of the national and provincial Governments as well as the Non-Government Organizations (NGOs).
