Religious Affiliation
Religion is also important social element in the
lives of the people of the Province. Among the various religious
affiliation of the population, the Roman Catholic composed the greatest
majority at 72.67%. Other denominations also gained some grounds
like the Iglesia Ni Kristo, Aglipayan and other groups, (Table 3-9).
Islam religion and its mosques are now expanding to Non-Muslim areas.
On the other hand, many Christian Churches particularly the evangelical
groups are propagating/expanding to all municipalities.
