Land
The Province has a total land area of 4,734.91
sq. km. that constitutes 29.60 % of Region IX and 1.58 % of the
country's 300 thousand sq. km. (Table 2-1)
The
municipality of Dumingag has the biggest area among all the municipalities
of 618.50 sq. Km. followed by Pagadian, Bayog and Lapuyan. The smallest
in area is the municipality of Josefina, V. Sagun, Tabina, Guipos,
Dumalinao and Pitogo which are less than 100 sq. km. (Table 2-2)
