Personnel
As of December 31, 2001, the Provincial Government
recorded a total personnel complement of 2,043 employees, which
was 31.65% and 28.11% lower than the 2000 and 1999 figures at 2,989
and 2,842 personnel, respectively.
Of the total employees in 2001, about 77.8% were
permanent, 15.9% were casuals, 0.3% were temporary, 1.2% were contractual,
and 4.0% were co-terminus. (Table 8-2)

CY 2002 workforce of the Province has a total of
702 0r 42% compared to the previous year . This is a result on the
implementation of the reorganization and new staffing pattern due
to the creation of Zamboanga Sibugay. The reorganization and new
staffing pattern is based on the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Resolution
no. 2k1-127 and Ordinance No. 002-2001.

The organizational structure of the Province conformed
to the Standard Organizational Structure and Position Classification
set forth by the Civil Service. All mandatory offices and three
optional offices were created after the implementation of the new
Local Government Code.
