Water Transportation

The Province has 14 coastal municipalities and the city of Pagadian of which have existing seaports that are accessible from any point within the mainland. Two (2) seaports are classified as national ports and the remaining are classified as municipal ports. (Table 7-10)

Pagadian City Port is a major port that is categorized as a sub-port of entry or a tertiary port. The other major port, also considered as tertiary port, is located in the municipality of Margosatubig . In addition, the municipal ports usually provide fishing services and custom transactions.
