Tertiary Education
In SY 2000-2001, there are 18 colleges and technical
schools in the Province, seven (7) of which are government-owned
and located in the municipalities of Dumingag, Molave, San Miguel,
Lakewood and Pagadian City. The 11 private schools are found in
Pagadian City and the municipalities of Aurora, Molave and Mahayag
These schools offer various courses such as education, commerce,
agriculture, marine, medical and engineering courses.(Table 6-7)
