Health Services, Nutrition and Family Planning
Health Services are of two (2) components, namely:
the preventive and the curative. The Public Health Program (PHP)
of the Department of Health (DOH) mainly serves the preventive component
of health. This is carried-out in the municipalities by the Rural
Health Units (RHUs) and in the city by the City Health Office. The
curative component is being taken cared-of by both the government
and private hospitals.
