JCI Yllana's Programs Involves the Community, Health, Children and The Environment

Junior Chamber International (JCI) Yllana under the new leadership of JCI Yllana President Terresa Bianca Pulmones has been conducting different projects involving the community, the children, health and the environment.

In an interview, JCI President Bianca Pulmones disclosed that since October 2016 up to the present, their organization has conducted the following projects: Feeding Program, Sports Development, Environmental Projects, Blood Letting, Livelihood Programs and more.

In partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), JCI Yllana has conducted their Feeding Program at Barangay Danlugan, Datagan, Alegria, Dituray, Pedelunan and Barangay Upper Sibatang. The said feeding program has catered 20 to 30 children per barangay. Unlike other feeding programs, JCI Yllana has also conducted interactive learning and hand washing project concurrently.

Just recently, the Holy Child Academy has celebrated their 77th founding anniversary where JCI Yllana partnered with the school in conducting a Blood Letting program. Why bloodletting? Pres. Bianca Pulmones explained that in bloodletting, they are promoting health and at the same time extending help to other people in need.

Pres. Terresa Bianca Pulmones also shared about the recently concluded activity of the JCI Western Mindanao through the leadership of their Regional Vice President Engr. Menachem Mantos that was held at the Provincial Government Complex. Said event is a series of trainings and capacity building activities in line with the JCI Regional Council Meeting and National Training Month. It was also participated by JCI Zamboanga City and JCI Tawi-tawi.

For this year, JCI Yllana has prepared different programs and projects that would give sustainable impact in the community.
