Pagadian City Mayor Romeo Tata Pulmones recently announced the P10-million fund he allocated for the rehabilitation of the streetlights around the city thoroughfares.

Accordingly, the old streetlights who’d become problems in the past months were on top of the complaints of the Pagadianons and visitors plying the major streets at night. “These have been checked by the maintenance teams every now and then, but expenditures increased especially with the technical problems along the lines,” Mayor Pulmones said.

He added that these will be converted into LED lights and will include the City Plaza and those in the National Highways from Barangays Tuburan to Tawagan Sur  especially those affected by the road widening project.

“Posts will also be moved to the roadside due to a number of accidents that transpired along the highway because of these posts,” the Mayor said.
