ZDS and XAES opens 100 computer sets for Provincial E-learning center

Learning is often considered to be a normal part of working and personal life and the use of computers and new technologies has become a crucial part of learning. Electronic Learning today has been a key factor in various industries and teaching is one among them. E-learning has redefined some strategies and concepts of teaching that have enabled the teaching community to perform better.

In line with this, the Provincial Government of Zamboanga del Sur headed by Governor Antonio H. Cerilles in coordination with Xavier Agriculture Extension Service Foundation holds the project turn-over and closing program of the E-Learning, E-nterprise and E-nvironment (E3) for women and at the same time the blessing of Zamboanga del Sur Computer Learning Center last January 18, 2017 at Zamboanga del Sur Sports Academy, Provincial Government Center, Brgy. Dao, Pagadian City.

 The blessing and the cutting of ribbon of the said building was solemnized by Fr. Deody Barret, the official priest of Zamboanga del Sur Sports Academy together with Governor Tony Cerilles, Vice Governor Ace Cerilles, Members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Municipal Mayors, ZSSA Principal Mrs. Myrna Jala and DepEd Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Jeanelyn Aleman.

This Zamboanga del Sur Computer Learning Center has now 100 computer sets, 80 from the province of Zamboanga del Sur and 20 from XAES Foundation who can now cater the needs of modern-day learners especially Zambosurians who wants to learn and explore the modern technology.

Zambosurians are proud to be the recipient of the said sustainable program in order to equip people in partnership for community development and nation-building and according to Vice Governor Ace Cerilles in his speech, he is glad because a lot of people will be benefitted by this projects. He thanked the XAES Foundation and the Provincial Government of Zamboanga del Sur for making this program into reality.
